During these years, Terri has contributed to this community's retail and industrial growth. * Terri served as Legislative Assistant to State Representative Jim Meyer (R-82nd District) and served for 4 years as a Township Clerk. * Terri's background in planning, economic development, and public service make her the right choice for the 42nd Senate District
FAMILY
* Terri has been married to Phil Wintermute (her high school sweetheart) for 29 years. Phil & Terri have three children, Angela (26 -married to Mike), P.J. (24), and Todd (22). FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS
* Terri is also involved in her family's Logistics firm, Chicagoland Quad Cities Express, Inc. As Secretary-Treasurer to the Board of Directors, she is responsible for union negotiations, and oversees the company's banking and insurance requirements. While being on the Board of Directors is not a full-time position, Terri does not take these responsibilities lightly. She remembers that her father and his partner put their homes up for collateral to start this business in 1967. She remembers their pride in the business they started. Before her father passed away in 2002, Terri promised her father she would keep this company going and care for their 100 employees. She has kept this promise.
