The Presidential candidates appearing on American Idol's "Idol Gives Back" is a merited, if somewhat unwanted, intrusion of politics into the American Prime Time conscientiousness. At least it's for a good, charitable cause.
But is an appearance on the WWE really necessary? Is it really incumbent that the next President be elected through winning that oft-coveted pro-wrestling demographic?
