6/4/2008Clinton to do something Friday
From ABC: Sen. Hillary Clinton will hold an event with supporters by Friday, likely ending her historic bid for the White House and ceding the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama, ABC News has learned. What ABC News has not learned is exactly what she'll announce it is that she's doing. Once she ends her campaign, campaign finance laws change, making it more difficult for her to raise money to pay down her sizable chunk of debt. If she's announcing she's ending her campaign, expect her to have negotiated a deal with Obama to help pay down her debt. UPDATE: 6:30pmLooks like the magic word is "suspend" and she'll also be endorsing Obama. We'll see how warm and fuzzy that is.
